I enjoyed myself. The food was delicious. It wasn’t that busy at all. I had scrambled eggs, fried chicken and hash browns. My husband had pork chops, scrambled eggs with cheese w/pecan waffle. There’s no parking lot for parking that I saw. But there was street parking in front. There were no stairs to walk up. It would accommodate a wheelchair.
This place is what a neighborhood restaurant should be... Great food, family owned for 77 years, and one of the owners (Corey) comes out and checks on you. And don't forget the Wall of Fame. It's a great family experience and breakfast is served all day.
Heavenly Chicken, Sausage, and Egg Breakfast!

My recent visit to “Louis the Pie Queen” in Oakland, California left me absolutely impressed, especially with their chicken, sausage, and egg breakfast! It was a breakfast delight that I won’t soon forget.
The combination of flavors in this breakfast dish was simply heavenly. The scrambled eggs were perfectly cooked and fluffy, while the chicken and sausage brought a delectable savory taste that complemented the dish perfectly.
I appreciated the generous portion size, leaving me feeling satisfied and energized for the day ahead. The quality of the ingredients was evident, and each bite was packed with deliciousness.
Beyond the food, the atmosphere at “Louis the Pie Queen” was charming and cozy, making the dining experience even more enjoyable.

For anyone looking for a mouthwatering breakfast in Oakland, I highly recommend trying the chicken, sausage, and egg breakfast at “Louis the Pie Queen.” You won’t be disappointed! I can’t wait to return and explore more of their menu offerings.
Kudos to “Louis the Pie Queen” for serving such scrumptious breakfast dishes. This place has truly earned its title as a breakfast gem in the heart of Oakland!
The ambiance is that of genuine and authentic soul food with southern hospitality. The history behind the legendary and authentic family dishes is truly exceptional. I highly recommend the fresh fried chicken along with the waffles.
The place does get crowded- so get there early. Very historic landmark area.
Corey is always cheerful and welcoming. Totally worth the drive.
EXPENSIVE. $20 for a waffle with fruit? Or for an omelette? I cannot understand why the prices are so high. Maybe the owners are trying to capitalize on the history of the diner, but it makes it unrealistic for the average person to eat here. It’s a shame.
Had porkchops with grits, eggs. Apple juice! This lasted me 2 days and I was satisfied. The quality is good the service was great.. no complaints here. It's a older place but I looked at photographs of famous ppl while waiting for food. Just nostalgic... I'd return
My wife and my granddaughter And I were looking for a nice place to eat for breakfast in Oakland. We ran across a restaurant called Lois the Pie Queen. We were greeted and seated by Ricki. She was an excellent waitress and server, and she gave our granddaughter V.I.P treatment. Leon is an excellent cook. We ordered pork chops with hash browns and over easy eggs with biscuits, and chicken and waffles. We will definitely be going back, and I recommend this restaurant to all.We Thank Ricki and Leon for a wonderful dining experience. Can't wait to taste the banana cream pie next time. 💯👍🏾😊
